Edit: I should explain - A lot of people are bringing up the quest"The Feud" in response to the, and that I did not mention it here. This exploration is the article of content in this area, and RuneScape gold it's the context in. On the other hand, the"Ali" item is a negative joke in the pursuit, and changing the names wouldn't have an influence on the quest besides removing a couple throwaway lines.
The actual story of the quest is trying to find"the world's biggest merchant" Ali Morrisane's long-lost nephew, and in the process, becoming sucked into a gang war between the Menaphites and the Bandits. Throughout the process you have to buy a lot of things from several merchants in Pollniveach, that all end up using business relationships with Ali Morrisane, and the punchline is that you just got tricked into purchasing a bunch of things from his business, making him really"the world's biggest merchant".
I struggle to determine how it was conducive, or detrimental. When I did quests around that area I wasnt thinking"haha look at those stupid arabians with each of their titles being the same", nor did I feel any less of arabians or their civilization because all the characters shared the exact same name. It was a positive and enjoyable experience that the way I see adversely affects arabians AT ALL. Idk is kind of my triggerpoint where there arent any, into where Im starting to think some people are just looking for offensive items. Some suggestions to make runescape more Varied that are needed
Since Jagex finally did what everyone was asking for, and buy RS3 gold changed the desert Ali's names to more varied range, I think there are some other places Jagex could improve on, because I believe Gielinor has a lot of opportunities to go away from bigoted and shallow stereotypes, while still enabling a more diverse selection of different people to be represented. Seriously? They are called small people. Dwarf that is word has been a deragatory term used to describe and always calling them names is insulting, which makes them one dimensional personalities.
